28 May Memorial day Parade

The Belle snuggled into South Landing, Portsmouth, VA next to the USCG Cutter Albacore to attend Memorial Day celebrations and the historical Portsmouth parade that passed a block from our tie-up.  Great weather. Grandkids spent the day crabbing off the docks, and family enjoyed all the fixin's, burgers, and dogs we could eat from the Belle's Galley-masters Karen, Lauren, Ann and Alli. Rob and Bill from the Mile Marker "0" marine chandlery (just behind the USCG cutter) were kept busy as SnowBirds on their way south and boaters stopped by for marine equipment and foodstuffs.
