The deluge of rain pounded throughout the night as transients at the pier huddled around "The Belle..." for a great dinner "on the barbie". The cold front we needed badly for heat relief was also bringing much needed rain and forecast 20kt winds the next day, along with more pounding rain. So, heading home under full sail early was the prudent choice. Karen worked the helm as Chess set the sails for a quick exit from the Hampton harbor area as we headed south
