The heavy rains and winds made for a fast sail south to Portsmouth for the annual 3B Fest at North Landing, Portsmouth, VA. We secured at the dock along the Water Stage, enjoyed a great weekend of great music from the 70-80-90s. Fun time for sure. Three boats from Canada were forward along the city
dock...two headed south and one headed north. Well after the bands stopped...about 1AM we get a knock on the hull...as Captain Brian from the Portsmouth Ferry asks us to move a bit forward so he can secure street-side for a fuel top-off early in the AM. Come Sun AM, we have several fuel tankers move south on the ICW as we prep for the sail north to the Norfolk Navy Base. a great weekend sailing, good music, and fun with friends.
