The 18-22kt southwesterly wind made for a fun and fast sail to the Portsmouth Boating Center for the annual ROC-Solid Children's Cancer charity fund-raiser. Great cause - providing playground sets for children with cancer. Arriving at low tide added to the excitement as we negotiated the skinny water fairway inside the marina. Family joined us for the day, and night to make for a really great time. DeLorean provided the music - great band! Pictured above, Karen catches up on all her magazines on the slow-roll home as we slink-along wing-on-wing with the 10kt southerly run back, passing Norfolk Marine Terminal (background in pic above) back to the Navy Base marina.
